STEM SYMPOSIUM BEING PLANNED FOR NOVEMBER 15, 2014

  • Twenty schools in HISD and several Independent School Districts (ISDs) will attend the STEM Symposium in November, 2014
  • Each student will be provided with a healthy breakfast and lunch box from Aramark.
The Gathering of Eagles (GOE) is planning their next Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) Symposium for middle and high school students on November 15, 2014.
Venue: Cesar Chavez High School, 8501 Howard Dr., Houston, TX 77017
The objective of the STEM Symposium is to inspire and motivate these young students to take courses now in science technology engineering math (STEM) before they graduate to better prepare themselves for jobs in Houston’s technology industry. The GOE expects 1,400 students to attend the symposium from several Independent School Districts (ISDs) such as Cleveland, Houston, Friendswood, Pearland, Alvin, Dickenson, Crosby and Channel View.
